Job Overview:
Tata Consulting Engineers Limited is looking for a skilled CAD Detailer – Civil/Structural to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create high-precision technical drawings, implement BIM practices, and ensure compliance with CAD standards. This role demands collaboration with architects and engineers to produce detailed and accurate design documentation for infrastructure and building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings for civil and structural elements using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure compliance with CAD standards, drawing accuracy, and quality requirements.
- Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows for integrated design documentation.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated and constructible designs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control for all design deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects with adherence to deadlines and technical standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and technical drawing standards.
- Knowledge of BIM processes, civil/structural drafting, and construction documentation.
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in drafting/designing in the construction or engineering sector.
- Exposure to infrastructure, buildings, or industrial projects is a plus.
