Job Overview:
BG Shirke Construction Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated BIM MEP Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing coordinated BIM models for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural components—especially for precast building systems, infrastructure projects, and large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage coordinated 3D BIM models for HVAC, electrical, firefighting, and plumbing systems using Revit MEP.
- Collaborate with structural and architectural teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Generate detailed MEP construction drawings, coordinated layouts, and shop drawings.
- Ensure model compliance with project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company standards.
- Support the design, estimation, and planning teams by extracting accurate quantities (BOQs) from the model.
- Assist in precast building services integration, ensuring all MEP elements are coordinated with structural elements.
- Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Maintain version control, drawing documentation, and change tracking.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (Manage or Simulate).
- Strong knowledge of building services design, MEP coordination, and BIM modeling workflows.
- Familiarity with precast building environments and services integration.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, lighting layouts, plumbing design, fire protection, and electrical distribution.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to handle fast-paced project demands.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in BIM MEP modeling.
- Experience in design-build or precast construction projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of Indian building codes, NBC, and international MEP standards is a plus.
