Job Overview:
BG Shirke Construction Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated BIM Structural Engineer to join our engineering and design team. The role involves developing accurate 3D structural models, coordinating across disciplines, and delivering high-quality BIM outputs for precast, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about BIM processes and structural systems, and eager to contribute to large-scale engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for structural systems using Revit Structure.
- Create GA drawings, reinforcement details, precast panel layouts, and construction documents.
- Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure clash-free, constructible designs.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings, clash detection using Navisworks, and resolve design conflicts.
- Support the structural team in the modeling of precast concrete components, RCC and steel structures.
- Extract accurate BOQs, generate drawing sets, and support construction planning.
- Ensure adherence to company BIM standards, protocols, and project-specific execution plans (BEP).
- Maintain model integrity, revision history, and documentation control throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of structural detailing, especially in precast and cast-in-situ construction.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings, design documents, and load-bearing systems.
- Familiarity with Indian and international codes (IS, ACI, BS).
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in structural BIM modeling, ideally in precast, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of precast construction systems and modular structural design is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in EPC or design-build projects preferred.
